When Will The COVID-19 Pandemic End?
“When will the pandemic end?” is a question that has been on everyone’s mind since COVID-19 started wreaking havoc at the start of the year 2020. The COVID-19 came from the virus called SARS-CoV-2 – a highly infectious disease first started in Wuhan City, China, then spread to other countries in just months.
On May 11, 2020, the respiratory outbreak was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization as it became a global health disaster infecting millions of people globally.
Today, after a year of the pandemic, there seems to be no respite from the outbreak as the number of cases and death tolls are still rising. Medical elimination of the pandemic depends on developing an effective and safe vaccine to counter the virus following safety protocols strictly.
There are also other measures to prevent the further spread of the virus, such as a Covid-19 test. Testing is one of the most effective strategies that will allow the pandemic to end in a more timely fashion.
Authorities are aware that many administer pcr test to help determine who are infected with the virus and act accordingly. It enables people to quickly reduce the spread of the virus as they can protect others from getting infected by isolating those who are already carriers.
Almost all airlines today and various countries are requiring passengers a fit to fly covid test to keep others from getting infected as economies slowly reopen. Such documents prove that travelers were reviewed by a medical professional and deemed fit to fly.
In most cases, travelers need to take a fit to fly covid test three to four days of departure, depending on the destination and airline.
While it is true the economies are slowly reopening, and workers are also getting ready to work on-site, it is still essential to remain vigilant until further notice. Continue to adhere in various health protocols and safety measures.
